Family Feud
I've honestly been paying more attention to Making The Band...and I can see why it gets the attention it does.
For a bit, I've been following up on this character Que(Light skinned - angry one in the video) and I've been shaking my head in disgust over his actions and words.
But I've come to realize after watching this clip, where everything was coming from.
Honestly, being in a group is not easy.
Take us for example.
3 different people, 3 different backgrounds, 3 different agendas, 3 different egos, 3 different priorities, 3 different morals, just basically 3 different identities.
For all 3 of us to be on the same page, working at the same pace, in perfect harmony is not something that comes easy.
We work, we're tired, we're stressed.
Rest assured, we have jobs outside of music.
It's only after that work is done that we start on our other job,
and a lot of times, that takes a toll on you.
I guess I'm writing this entry to sorta give you guys insight that everything isn't daisys and sunflowers.
We work hard to make the music that we make, and we receive a lot of discouragement from the littlest things sometimes.
I mean...what's the point of knowing your the best, when there's no one to recognize it?
On a brighter note, our video is still up on YouTube.
Some of you may find it funny, some of you may it absurd....
We're just not THAT into being thugs. LOL.
Love us or hate us, as long as you think of us.

Long overdue....so without further ado. (THANK YOU)
Apologies for the very few of you who keep up with the blog.
We have been lazy, nonchalant, sick, irresponsible, and simply caught up in life's bullshits to be updating.
Once again, we apologize.
Let's see......
I would like to start off the entry by going over and putting my two cents in on a couple of things that have happened recently.
For those of you who were interested in the Cam'Ron vs Jim Jones quarrel, Jim Jones' new album "Pray IV Reign" came out March 24th. I was probably the only Korean guy who picked it up(Lucky Lefty).
I'd have to say that Jim Jones did get better. But not good enough yet. Though Dame Dash snubbed his new album a new "Reasonable Doubt" its nothing close to a classic. He still doesn't fit regular standard raps, sounds like mixtape quality verses, and badly overdone ad-libs. Nonetheless, he did improve.
Precious feat Ryan Leslie. Great hook. Nothing more. Go Download it.
Next, I attended the I AM Music tour at the Gibson Amphitheater on March 29th.
The line-up was as follows:
T-Pain's Goons.
Keri Hilson
Gym Class Heroes
T-Pain
The man himself, Mr. Carter.
- I'd have to say Keri Hilson wasn't that great of a performer. She was mediocre, didn't have too much energy, and failed to narrate her performance properly.
- Gym Class Heroes got the crowd a little more hyped thanks to Keri's poor performance. But Travis is a weirdo. I wasn't feeling him too much, and he talked a little bit too much and tried to get the crowd hyped by using the "Obama" fuck Bush approach. It's too late for that friend.
- T-Pain was by far the most impressive performer that night. Although he doesn't use much of his voice (he plays the real songs) and barley sings, he is ONE HELL OF A DANCER. He had so many hits, it was really hard not to get into the crowd. You can see the authenticity of how much he wanted to really perform for the fans. He got into a golf-cart accident 3 days before, said he was in a lot of pain, but still gave it his 100% to put on the show. He won over my respect for sure. He has talent, no matter how many people try to knock his robot voice.
- Lil Wayne's performance was greatly anticipated. I truly saw the power of his stardom once he came on. He kept the crowd waiting in the dark for a good 15 minutes, but satisfied the crowd by a hilarious introduction. He's a very very funny guy. He completely loses his cool on stage which makes him look even more cooler. He blasted the set off with the song Mr. Carter, and got into "Money On My Mind" leading to a duet with T-Pain's "Got Money". They dominated the stage and the crowd with ease as Keri Hilson made her way back for "Turnin' Me On". This is where the night started getting dry. He sorta lost the focus of the crowd by performing mediocre songs. Lil Wayne alone had 100 songs last year, and he could've picked better songs to perform. I was disappointed he wasn't performing some of his most famous cuts....but he did bring out Drizzy Drake....and made out with a singer.....and crawled on the floor a couple of times....all in all....I think I can say I enjoyed T-Pain's performance, but enjoyed Lil Wayne's presence.
Now......
here's the highlight of my entry...
I went to San Bernandino the previous day for "Paid Dues" concert.
It sucked. It looked like a little better version of Jangtuh(Korean Festival), with a little pond in the middle. The event started at 3, and Blu "performed" at 4(later I would find out he didn't make it cause of traffic). Joe Budden wasn't performing till 8, so I decided to stop by Morongo....I got carried away and ended up missing Joe Budden's performance which was pushed up cause Blu didn't come to perform.
Bummed out, tired, and sick of seeing college boys throw up in public, I left.
Then my partner in rhyme Mike B texts me telling me he sees Joe Budden right infront of him.
Fuck me Sally. Turn the car around, and I run full fledged to the booth where he's selling his merchandise. I can't believe I see him infront of me.
I told myself that if I ever got a chance to talk to him, I would do myself a favor and spit a line for him. Not to get signed, not to get noticed, but to see how relevant he thought I was in the rap game. And being that I was behind 30 people, didn't seem like I had much of a shot.
But.......(dun dun dun)
I caught that Joe Budden was going to leave, and being that he was in a tent-type booth, he was trying to exit out the back. Good thing I'm not fat, I ran to the back just in time to catch him. He tells me sarcastically, "I am a trained MMA fighter, I will have to attack you if I feel threatned." I go into a rant about how much of a fan I am of his music, and ask him for my dreamed and practiced favor. He gets down on one knee and says, "Please, let me hear it."
I go into my verse, stumbling, nervous, and I make it out.
He looks at me and says, "I will see you at the top. (Comes closer with his arms around me) Do not worry, you are good. YOU ARE GOOD." He signs my ticket and storms off with his entourage.....I went bezerk. Then that feeling went away 2 minutes later by the question in my head, did he really mean it?
I have a bad quality picture, but I'll post it up.
Damn. This was a long entry. If you read it, good. If you didn't, great.
Million Dollar Babies are guest performing a featured song with J OVANNI at the House of Blues tomorrow. Show starts at 9pm. One song, and we're outta there.
I don't really know what's going to happen with Million Dollar Babies as of this moment...so...I guess that saves us another entry.

UPDATE!! SHOUT OUT TO MR JOHN LEE! LOL
just a quick update on what's been going on with the BABIES.. once again shout out to john.. he's been constantly adamant about us updating this blog.. LOL
this is jkid btw
We did the Paul Wall show a couple of weeks ago... shout out to everyone that made it and supported..
the response was good... lots of different nationalities came up to us and told us they really felt it.. it just sucked cuz they werent servin booze that night so everyone was boogie'n and not getting crunk.. na' mean?
LL..lucky lefty... well before i tell you news about him... let me tell a lil on how this guy operates.. he's a spurter.. if you know what i mean ... this means.. he works in spurts..he'll get an incredible amount of work done in a short time.. and then it'll be a long break after that... i guess all of us operate in that way but..
there was one week where he was writing like no other.. everyday i saw him he had new verses.. and not like mediocre soft shit.. i mean.. it'll blow away your favorite rapper's verse on any given Sunday type shit..i was blownnn away.. im itching to give yall some of my favorite punch lines from those things but.. itll not do it justice.. anyway.. i think he was ready to make like 7-8 songs all by hisself in just one week.. crazyy.. i as producer couldn't even come close to making enough beats to give those verses a home..
and so Mike B was quiet for a bit.. he makes niggas wait for his shit like he's the prince of Egypt or something.. but its always worth the wait..he came with two verses in the following week or two and .. mannnnnnn... i wish i could dish out some of his punch lines but as well.. i almost wanted to give up ever rappin... LOL
and so A LOT of people have been asking when our next project is gunna drop.. honest answer... IDK!! we still in talks... we have new material.. and some songs that've been shelv'n it for a bit.. and we have enough unrecorded material to make another mixtape.. or we could aim for an all original official CD.. that'll take a bit longer obviously..
FEEDBACKKKK!!! give us your opinions on what yall think.. new mixtape..like pronto.. or CD in a lil bit??
